Privacy Policy

Summary

We collect the minimum needed to run the game, never sell or share your data for advertising, and don't use third-party ad trackers. This policy is written to meet the GDPR/UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and India's DPDP Act, 2023.

What we collect

Account: name, email, hashed password. Game: your setup answers, which are ranges only (employment type, income band, asset and debt bands, monthly spend band, growth goal), used to set your quest and achievements; your paper trades, lesson progress, coins and streaks. Guests get an anonymous account until they choose to save progress. Payments: plan, amount, status, optional GSTIN and billing name (card/UPI details stay with Razorpay/Stripe). Usage: first-party, cookieless events such as 'lesson completed', with a random device ID.

Why

To provide and personalise the service, keep your progress, show the leaderboard (first name + last initial only), process payments and invoices, prevent abuse, and improve lessons.

Storage & retention

Data is stored on servers we control. We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request, except payment records we must retain under tax law.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent and object to processing. Use the contact page (topic: Privacy) — we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies for login sessions. Theme and a few interface preferences are kept in your browser's local storage.

Children

OptionsPilot is for people aged 13 and over; under-18s should have a parent or guardian's consent. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
