What OptionsPilot is
OptionsPilot is an online educational game about the stock and options markets. All trading inside the app uses paper (virtual) money on a simulated market of fictional companies. Nothing in OptionsPilot is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any security.
Not investment advice
OptionsPilot is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or research analyst in any jurisdiction (including with the SEC/FINRA, FCA or SEBI). Trade cards, scores and reasons are generated by a rules engine on simulated data for practice only. Consult a licensed professional before making real investment decisions. Options involve substantial risk.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use OptionsPilot, and 18 to buy Pro (or have a parent or guardian do so). Keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Don't create multiple accounts to manipulate the leaderboard.
Pro purchases
Pro is a one-time payment for a fixed period (31 or 366 days) that does not auto-renew. Prices are shown in USD; buyers in India may pay in INR (GST inclusive). Payments are processed by Stripe or Razorpay; we never see your full card or UPI credentials.
Acceptable use
No scraping, reverse-engineering paid content, abusing the API, or harassing other users. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Liability
OptionsPilot is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for any investment or trading decisions you make.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of OptionsPilot is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
